Mary Ann Foreman is a socially engaged individual who was raised in Baltimore at a time when neighbors were your extended family and African Americans raised their children to be achievers. Growing up in Ashburton on a Street known as Frank Robinson Way she walked to school and like most of her academic Peers she left town for college in New England. Her academic achievements include many scholarships, fellowships, and she was the First African American to lead the line of graduates at UMBC. That was a day of pride for all of the Black Faculty. She is a Visual Artist, Web Designer, Video Editor, and the executive officer of her corporation! She dedicated her life to public service and still takes that lifelong commitment seriously. Naturally, when the First Lady of our great nation sought solutions to childhood obesity, Mary wanted to help. Her contribution to the country’s Fitness problem became Always Ginga Fit Inc. This would be a concierge level Fitness program provider that looked to serve urban communities. Her dream was to go where no one would and offer the number one Fitness program in America, Zumba.

Some call her a triple threat: dedicated to saving lives, ending childhood obesity and making fitness fun for all ages.
Mary can’t be compared to anyone, inspired by God, First Lady Michelle Obama, and her mother Thelma Foreman, to make the lives of others better.
This Baltimore born, lady founded Always Ginga Fit Inc. in September of 2010 and began offering her style of accessible Zumba, first to children in after school programs and then to adults.
Teaching large groups and special events is when she signs. In 2011 and 2012 she took on Baltimore City’s Summer Camp program and ten recreation centers alone. Last year she received the highest rating of any subcontractor. Always Ginga Fit Inc. is a five star enterprise.
She is currently teaching for corporate clients, in area recreation centers through out the Baltimore Washington Metropolitan area. Mary’s specialties include: Zumba for adults, Zumba Gold for seniors, and Zumbatomic for children. “ The three work together allowing me to offer modifications for all ages and ability levels when I teach.”
